Daily goings on

Things are definitely running at a frenetic pace around here. The last two weeks or so I've been through classes, work going nuts (and thankfully recovering), them halfway tearing down the country club, a very nice weekend trip to Charleston with someone, and then my school trying to screw me out of a job, and then half my funding. That would really tick me off, but they apparently forgot that my undergrad GPA combined with my GMAT scores are ridiculously high to be in this school. I've had six schools (only three of which I applied to, interestingly enough) trying to recruit me since I started here. Not a good idea to yank funding from someone that can get a full ride elsewhere with a roughly thirty second phone call! Hahahaha.... no matter what, I win. Again.

Oh well, I'll follow the simple policy: Wine about it! Nothing a bottle or two can't make better. Oh, I do have one random rant for the moment: there needs to be a moratorium, or at least some sort of restriction, on advertisements for these crappy, third-rate auto and life insurance companies. Esurance? AmGen? Please, spare me your infestation of my television. If I could easily block that crap on my TV like I have on my computer, life would be so much more pleasant.

Oh, and one other thing: some philosophical musings are probably coming soon, too. Fear ye!
