Just a Post

Happy Jewish Heritage Appreciation Month! And to be honest, I didn't know there was a Jewish Heritage Appreciation month, which kinda sucks, all things considered. I personally have little or no Jewish heritage that I know of, at least not within my family.

While I don't know how many friends and readers I have with Jewish heritage, I do have a few Jewish friends, so cheers to them! One is a moderately recovered/moderately alcoholic frat boy who has a picture of himself in a toga on the back of his business card, so that is certainly a positive image thus far!

CORRECTION: There is another friend who deserves a mention... who happens to own one of the companies I work for. Sorry, sir! You rock, too!

Tonight has been random work and hang out with friends night, which usually makes for a good evening. Dogfish Head beer is a great thing, by the way, so if you haven't tried it, give it a shot. I'm not big on beer, usually only rarer imports and craft beers, so when I like one, that's a heck of an endorsement! Try the 90 Minute IPA.

What else, what else... I'm still trying to decide where I will be going in the next few months. I have options all over the US and the world, so the question is pretty wide open. Great job options, and likewise great grad school options is I choose. There's Florida, both Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale, both of which are great, Texas, Charleston, South Carolina, back where I lived just not long ago. What to do, what to do? I think I'll let the offers finish coming in and debate it sometime next week and the following.

I can't forget to mention, keep my good friend David Williams(AKA Spock) and his family in your prayers; his mother passed away yesterday afternoon. As one who knows what it means to lose a parent, I sympathize with him. It's never an easy time to lose someone who is such a big part of your life.

I'll leave you all to a nice, relaxing evening, and catch up more tomorrow. In the meantime, have a great evening, one and all! Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
