Since the results of the LSAT came out, I've heard from 47 law schools now that are interested; everything from application fee waiver all the way up to full scholarships and then some. And they are still coming in. Some are the usual lower-tier schools, but a lot are the higher end gigs. Oddly enough, though, why am I getting so much interest from schools in New York? I'm not complaining, but still, intrigues me.
The most intriguing one, outside of the schools I had already looked at is the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Ranked 35th in the country, with some of the top rankings for graduate placement, it's located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 12th Street, New York City. Yow. Dunno about moving to NYC! the BNC is part of Yeshiva University. Which, I have a sneaking hunch, may be Jewish. Got no complaints there! I'm just intrigued that they sought me out.
On that note, here's the culture fail for the day:
Random thought: I'm not big on video games, not at all, but the Modern Warfare series, I have to admit, makes for great fun and stress relief.
Finally, no long soliloquy today, even though it's a bit early I know, just want to say thank you to all who have done their duty and served in the military... standing ever ready to do a duty, sometimes unthinkable to most, to make sure our life and our way of life is preserved. Those who cut that 'blank check' to their country. And most of all, to the men and women, especially my friends, who have died in the service of their fellow men. For Friday, since I won't get much of a chance to say it, happy Veteran's Day. Take the time to thank the ones you know today.
