Tonight has been exhausting, and I am about ready for bed. But a few things are on my mind, as usual, before I head that direction. First of all, tonight I got one of the rarer compliments that I've ever gotten: Jessica, a local cheerleading coach, complimented me on my hair. She asked how I manage to keep it so perfect and set without using gel or anything. Said it looks good. I think that's awesome, I've very rarely ever had much said about my hair. Though, she did say too that I could pull of a small mohawk. Yeah, thanks but no on that last bit.

I somehow manged to take the time tonight to order another six bottles of harder to find wines today, including the only Prosecco to ever make Wine Spectator's top 100 list. The Chardonnay was the big deal on the order list, though. And I think I'm going to order another bottle of Far Niente's "Dolce" dessert wine, which is so damned good it's nickname is "the liquid gold of Napa Valley." It lives up to that name, too! On the flip side, one of the wine reps for my connection met with me tonight, chatted it up, shook my hand and gave me some free stuff. I have an inkling that is a sign I should slow down. Eh, who am I kidding? Free stuff!!

One last thing for tonight, I have to give a shout-out for my friend Aaron Karo; he's finally coming back to Charlotte, later on this month. It took him long enough (and I told him so, lazy ass), but it promises to be a good show, as always. And, of course, the after-party should be pretty darn good, too, lol! Now I just have to figure out who to take with me. I know who I would like to take!

To quote Porky Pig, that's all, folks! Sleep well and enjoy the weekend, loyal R&C! Wish me a safe drive tomorrow late-night.

  2. You Anne Frank looking... I told you a while back you were taking to long to get back to Charlotte! You promised to come back and get us all excommunicated. Though honestly we're still wondering how that works for you, being Jewish and all.

No worries, though... we're looking forward to having you back and putting you comfortably into rehab. Again.

And you got a shout-out for Jewish Heritage Month a few posts ago... no love for that one?
